The daughter of an RDA board member, Brienne's future was locked to the corporation and later to the colonization of Pandora. In 2153, she would be working on Pandora as a financial analyst (but more so Parker Selfridge's glorified secretary and golf-ball retriever) before being sent home with the rest who were expelled after Jake Sully's insurgency and Miles Quaritch's disastrous coup. On Earth, she was assigned to campaigns to prepare for the return to the exomoon.During the second Pandoran tour, she remains a RDA corporate civilian employee and the operation's head funding manager. ACT I
• In June 2075, Brienne is transferred from the ECC to overhaul the lack of oversight and employee scheming at the NUSA branch as interim director of Finance. She would be offered a permanent position shortly after. She accepts, thinking it is a smart career move. Coming fresh to Night City requires building connections. She will seek out fixers to find who is using whom externally to handle their affairs and to manage some of her own.ACT 2
• Following Saburo Arasaka’s murder, Brienne vows allegiance and follows the orders given to her by the new CEO, Yorinobu Arasaka. With close ties to Saburo, the conservative Landry family claims membership in the Kiji Faction. It follows that Brienne does also. The internal conflict between the corp's three factions sets the director ill at ease, especially with Yorinobu's Taka faction asserting more control.• Internal pressures, suspicion of corp reorganization, and extortion by the NC gang, Los Piratas, further spiral the director into neurostim use to stay calm and carry on. Meanwhile, the suspicious death of her father, COO of Arasaka Bank, ECC, threatens this equilibrium. A private investigation points to more covert faction positioning and heightens her concerns about an internal war. She gets caught searching files that were revoked from her access. This leads to dismissal from the corp and her being hunted down by Arasaka agents sent by Yorinobu. The gang's protection racket becomes her savior.

In the late 1990s, Landry Capital Management began legal dealings with several of Hong Kong's triads. Notably, after Hong Kong’s handover to China in 1997, triad activities changed significantly to focus on teaming up with entrepreneurs and investing in legitimate domestic and overseas businesses.The CEO's one son, Henry Landry, saw an opportunity and began to covertly fulfill the role of a financial advisor or “white paper fan” (451) for the triad. With it and outside of the firm's eye, he built his own services ring to handle the triad’s money laundering along with several offshore accounts. These would be expanded internationally beyond local crime lords to international drug and weapons traffickers looking to launder their money.BRIENNE LANDRY-GUYOT is the oldest of Henry's two daughters. Her role in the firm is as a client relations specialist, helping the firm appease its most lucrative VIP clientele. Wanting to keep his operation close, her father saw Brianne's private jet access and international travel schedule with the firm ripe for transferring money. Far Cry 3

• To Hoyt Volker, Ms. Martin is primarily known as "the courier" and to his men, an "external hire." Starting in 2009, monthly visits to Rook Islands are scheduled to collect payments for her father's subsidiaries to manage through his money laundering operation. Her contract is to take a set amount of dirty money to "wash" each month. Much to her dismay, her departures from Rook are often delayed due to the islands' volatility. She may have to wait a few days or a week longer than intended for that amount to accrue and be handed over.

Far Cry: New Dawn

• Spared in a bunker built for the mega-rich, Brienne emerges years after The Collapse in the south of France. Money means nothing in the new world, but the influence of the Guyot family continues. They take part in the forging of a New Europe and a global network. Expeditions to other parts of the globe are formed to gather intel on the world's status and as if entering a Second Age of Colonization, to set up a network to accrue resources.• At the age of 47 (2027), Brienne volunteers to take a doomed convoy to North America. Gardening (horticulture), a hobby pre-Collapse, is a trained specialty after, and one of her jobs is to collect a diversity of seeds to bring back and grow.• On the tail end of a trail of bad luck, what's left of the splintered French convoy is interrupted by a Highwaymen chapter. Suddenly, she’s reunited with their leader, Vaas Montenegro, and the remaining members of his Rook's pirates, whom she knew many years before when she was Hoyt Volker's courier.• Adopted into their chapter, Mountain West, Brienne helps grow their gardens at home base. She adapts to a new and much harder life in America, but at least she is among familiar and friendly (to her) faces and with a purpose to nourish their ranks with the plants she grows.

The region is known for its bountiful harvests of the sweetest ports and the lightest white wines. The former is traded with the Woodland Realm.For a time, Brienne gains an administrative position on the council of lords and ladies, becoming the overseer of the realm's merchant affairs. She occasionally travels with her estate's wares to sell at trade hubs near and far.

She waits in stasis until Yorinobu's plan plays out, losing many of her family in Europe in the coup. However, the destruction of NC tower and Yorinobu's departure from NUSA gives her some reprieve.ACT 4
In 2079, following the unexplained disappearance of the Los Piratas' president/her extortionist Vaas, his best friend, second-in-command, and now interim gang president, Santiago Moncada, gives Brianne a reprieve from the protection racket. The two grow close in their shared grief (over losing Vaas) and closer still when the gang's new leader threatens them both. They take on new identities and relocate to a seaside villa in Nice, France. There they live a quiet, unassuming but comfortable life outside the corp and gang's eye. Born in the city of Khovd, Mongolia, to a family of factory and farm workers, Gansukh Batbayar was no stranger to poverty. When he completed his one-year compulsory service in the Mongolian Armed Forces at the age of 18, he decided to stay on a few years because of the lack of better opportunities at home.Instead of returning to his hometown, he relocated to the capital with his best friend from childhood. The two worked odd jobs to make ends meet, his friend found love and had a child, and despite financial hardships, things were looking up for the both of them. But then, his best friend’s child got sick and he took the only option he thought available to pay for his child's treatment — he borrowed money from a Chinese gang. Paybacks started fast and Gansukh didn’t know the trouble he was in until they got involved in a murder of a gang member. Thinking it was the right thing to do (to not leave a child without their father), Gansukh took the fall. He was locked up in a Chinese prison for ten years. When he got out, the gang wasn’t done with him. Leaving Mongolia and finding work in the trafficking trade with Hoyt Volker seemed the quickest solution even if it's also bad business.
